We played our last match of the season yesterday at the Engine. While there, I asked is they'd found the odd item I was missing. I know - I know! Most unlike me to leave anythig behind, but I had to check. I was then present with all the normal items -- deck-boots, mackintoshes, boules of one sort and another. BUT! I was also offered quite a range of clothing not belonging to me. Much of this could easily have been left by players at the odd tournament or match. I was informed that they would be kept a few weeks before being taken to a charity shop. One item was certainly "one of ours": a navy blue Chiltern Region wind cheater! This I grabbed and will hold indefinitely until someone claims it. If you are missing any item of clothing -- -- check with the Engine |
